Readers’ Choice 2006 Fragrance Winner

I have been using Chanel No. 5 for the past 12 years and have not been able to find another perfume that I like as much or is as long-lasting as my Chanel! It is definately a #5 - best in show! Classic fragrance, timeless selection!

Just absolutely love this scent, have loved it and used it all my life, never ever changes frangrance on me, even with changes in medications, and in the winter with woolens and furs, this scent is absolutely so compatible with anything I wear. It has been their signature fragrance for how many years?  Our mothers wore it, our grandmothers wore it, all with the same prestige the House of Chanel is known for. Let’s give this one 6 stars.

My signature fragrance.  I sometimes wear others when the mood strikes me, but if I could only ever have ONE perfume, this would be it, hands down!

Excellent a wardrobe staple!

This gorgeous scent has always been my favorite.  It “goes with” every occasion or season without changing.  I always receive terrific compliments when wearing it.  I try to never run out.

Have been using it for years and there’s no match to this one, I can tell !

Chanel #5 has been around for many many years because it was and still is very popular

Smells like bug spray, it actually keeps the mosquitoes away.  I use it as a protective spray for mosquitoes, works better than Deep Woods or Off.

Has always been, and will always be, the BEST!  It’s so beautiful !  Every time you spray it on, you feel elegant !

Have used this for decades, my mother had it as well.  Love the soft scent, definitely one of my favorites.

I have been using Chanel # 5 since I was 18! I have had men pass me and ask what perfume I was wearing - they wanted to buy it for their girlsfriends/wives.  It will never go out of style with me.

This is not my mothers perfume anymore! After years of buying Chanel for my mother I finally bought myself a bottle. Now as we are all well aware, fragrances mix with our own body oils making each perfume unique to the person wearing it. It’s sophisticated, rich and enveloping without being over powering and feeling like you’ve just been marinated and are ready to be put on the grill.

I have used this for years and find it to be the most romantic.

This was my first perfume ever. I got a free sample from a makeup counter was 6! I still love it, it is the epitomy of femininity. Period.

Chanel No 5 is my favourite perfume/cologne. It’s a classic it makes me feel fresh and pretty. I wear it daily as does my mother and sister.  I’ve never had another person make a comment on it other than “you smell great”.  It is the same fragrance as it was 30 years ago. I still have a powder from the 60’s in the container that I use only on a special occasion and it still smells just the way it my fresh perfume smells. Now thats the sign of a great product.  When something this good is on the market it never needs to be improved upon. It’s my classic for life.

What can I say about No 5? There’s a reason why No 5 is the most famous women’s perfume! This perfume smells like a strong, yet still ultra-feminine women. It’s has a distinct smell that is soft yet emotes strength and beauty. This lovely number has stood the test of time!! 5 out of 5 isn’t even worthy because No 5 is a legend and holds no comparison.
