The glaze was easy to use and I loved the results. There was nothing about it I didn’t like.

My hair looked shinier and had more highlights. It’s a more affordable alternative to at-home hair colour so I’ll keep using it.

It left my hair shiny, soft and the scent was amazing. But I didn’t notice any change to my hair colour.

It’s a bit hard to wash out, but my hair looks and feels terrific after using it. I loved the soft scent.

I didn’t really see a difference.  Its really messy and stained my shower door.  It also smells awful.

It really brings out the highlights in my dirty blond hair, but it leaves my hair really greasy within a few hours.

It had a wonderful scent but I wasn’t very fond of the texture, it was too flighty.  I only noticed a subtle change in hair colour.

I found it worked worked well but I didn’t find that much difference in my hair. I have brown hair and I made my hair more auburn, which I like but other people might not.

I’m a hair colour fanatic so when I saw this product on the shelf I just HAD to try it!  I’m sorry to say I was very disappointed when I didn’t see any results.  I colour my hair red, which from experience is one of the colours to fade the fastest.  When I saw this product I figured all my problems were solved from colour to colour, but that was definitely not the case.  Honestly there was no change in the “before” and “after” pictures that I took over the course of 2 weeks.

I liked the scent.  It made my hair so soft and super shiny.

I wasn’t too fond of the smell, although not as overwhelming as regular haircolour. I did not notice a difference in colour, and found it left my short hair with a wierd texture to it.

I use it weekly to keep my blonde hair looking shiny.

I didn’t notice a change, but received a couple of compliments after using the glaze. It’s a little messy, stained my hands a bit and doesn’t smell great but I’ll continue to use it.

It’s tricky to use. The first time I used it, I put too much on the top of my head and ended up with a brown patch on my scalp. Otherwise, the subtle colour is nice and it gives my hair a nice boost of shine.

I find it does not do anything better than cheap shampoo.

It is hard to wash out.  Smells okay and I didn’t notice a difference in colour.

Didn’t really notice much difference.

It refreshed my colour, but it irritated my scalp.  My hair colour doesn’t do that.

It leaves my hair feeling heavy and greasy...smells nice though.

Didn’t notice a difference at all; the “fragrance” was horrible - had to apply conditioner to cover up the odor.

I found this product to leave my hair feeling almost like it needed to be rewashed.  I used less the next time and had the same result.
I think I’ll stick with my regular conditioner for colour treated hair.

This product didn’t do much for me. I didn’t notice a colour change and the dark brown colour left stains on my shower curtains. Not a big fan of the smell, either. Although hair felt a bit softer afterwards.

Fantastic! I use it probably four times a week.

Overall, this product is great, it makes your hair a lot shinier, and I find softer. Although it has a great outcome, even though you are to rinse the product out after a few minutes, I find once your hair is dried, it feels like it has product in it, its not a gross feeling, but it does seem to weigh your hair down just a tad.

Gave nice colour, but left my hair way to greasy looking. Not meant for people with oily hair!

I love this product! It not only adds shine to my fine hair but adds body . It also helps with touch ups between colours so I don’t have to cover the grey as often.

Great for in between dye jobs.

Left my hair feeling a little greasy and limp.  I found it hard to wash out, too.

I really didn’t much care for this product.  I found that it left my hair feeling quite dry and crunchy and my fingernails seemed to pick up a brownish colour, wasn’t worth it

Easy to use and great results.

I love John Frieda products. I have always had great luck with them. I tried the blonde glaze. It was great. My hair was so shiny. Easy to use. Love it!!!

I’ve used it multiple times when my hair was both blonde and brunette… I found the brunette one was better - it definitely brightened up my colour - but the blonde one, I noticed, made no difference in colour or texture.
