I?m more of a pad user but my daughters use Tampax and from now on will use the Pearl type. They were impressed with the fit, comfort and protection. The pads offered good protection, but were too long. I?d purchase a different type of Always pads next time.

Both products were great. I usually use tampons, but used the Always Ultra after I had my baby and they were perfect. I liked that the Tampax Pearl had a plastic applicator.

I really liked the smooth application of the Tampax Pearl tampons, but thought the plastic wrappers were too noisy. Both products worked well, but I prefer more compact tampons that produce less packaging waste.

It’s the best product out there, for the job we ladies need!  Always feminine pads, stay in place, they draw moisture away, and w/ the wings (forget about the leaks)!  I could not live without the little pink and green packages, I wouldn’t want to!

Always pads are the best in my opinion. The absorb moisture and don’t feel like a diaper. I love the cotton like core. Tampax pearl is comfortable and provides great protection.

I only use Always; either thins or regulars with wings.  They now have that great cottony-surface, and they are the only ones that have saved my panties and sheets.  I hate tampons.  I can feel them. Ick.  Always rules.

I dislike tampons but I use them overnight when my flow is heavy. When I tried Tampax Pearl I started liking tampons again. The plastic applicator makes it go in easy and lets me know how far it should go. Then I don’t worry whether it’s going to wiggle out.

I like Always and sadly, was anxious to try Pearl.  I didn’t like it at all.  Although the idea of the braided string is good, I found it very uncomfortable.  I will not buy that product again.

I love Tampax Pearl they are comfortable and provide great protection. They are the best out there!

One of my Favorite Tampons. Almost didn’t know it was there. Very easy to use and comfortable.

What is worse than leakage, other than a bulky diaper-like pad?  Well guess what?  Your worries are over.  Always Ultrathin Maxi-pads offer awesome leakage protection and you can wear jeans, skirts, shorts, or dress pants without worry.  Good stuff.

I prefer the pearl tampons to any others, because they fit my body the way a tampon should.  The applicator is comfortable to insert, too.

Ive been using Always religiously for about 7yrs. Tried other brands and they do not compete against Always. It works like a dream. Fits comforable and also thin for a natural feel.

It was the exact same protection as reqular Tampax, except maybe prettier.  But I don’t look for “pretty” in my tampons.  For me it wasn’t worth the extra cost

Tampons and pads are so wasteful and add so many chemicals to our bodies. Never mind the expenses! I much prefer reusable menstrual products such as the diva cup or fabric pads.

I found that the tampax pearl worked very well. It was very comfortable, no leakage and very easy to use.  I now use the regular and super.

I had no problems with reliability and application was really comfortable but I hate having so much packaging waste. I prefer to use something with less packaging or something more biodegradable.

Use both tampons and panty liners - great product.

The tampons don’t expand for me, I dont know why, but they just dont, having to wear a pad plus a tampon is not fun.

Always Ultra has been a favourite of mine for ages. Soft, comfortable, secure.  I am not one for tampons, and have extremely delicate skin. Even use them when wearing thong panties, really!

I really appreciate the braided string. It helps save your undergarnments from any accidental leaks. The applicator is smooth and makes it comfortable for insertion. Great product!

I love the tampax pearl...it doesn’t leak. Trust me, it’s worth that extra little bit of cash.  I believe that if it’s for your body then any dollar amount is worth it!

My daughter finds it extremely cozy and comfy.

I love tampax pearl. They don’t leak much and they absorb very well.  Having the pearl plastic makes it easier to insert.

Pads: I love the new scent of the pads and the wipe that comes with them. The new scent and wipe gives me a cleaner feeling. I always use this product. I love the size and fit!

I love the Tampax Pearl!  They are constructed for ease and comfort.  The Always Ultra are good as well.  The coverage is thorough and they are nice and thin.

I like the tampax pearl though I think they could make them in discreet packaging.  I find they fit nicely and give great protection.

These are very smooth and pearl-like but a little bit too long.

I’ve been using Always since ‘the beginning’ more than 20 years ago and have never felt a need to switch.  It gives me everything I need in a pad: comfort, no leak wings and many different sizes to accomodate every situation.

These pads are “The” thinnest, most absorbent on the market! The tampons are the best also. The playtex ones leak before they are full and I find they are hard to insert.

Usally in tampons I use super plus and I found the tampax pearl super plus not to hold as much liquid as the older product .Although I much rathered the plastic applicator of the tampax pearl, it make it much more comfortable to use.

I never used tampons before. I was scared and I kept seeing ads for the new “pearl” line. I snipped a coupon and got a box.  They were so comfortable and easy to use. I’ve been using them since.

I have been a faithful user of Always and Tampax products for many years.  I have tried other brand names but I always come back to my fav’s!  They are reasonably priced, comfortable and a name that I will always trust.  Tampax Pearl is new to me but I will be using them for many more years!!

Always Clean - I just love the idea of having a fresh wipe with every pad change.  Could be a little larger, but what a great idea.  Must have been a woman who designed this.

The product does what it says, I use regular tampax so I tried tampax pearl, and was happy with product.

The braided cord is fabulous & turned me into a tampon user.  I hated them before.

I’ve not leaked since using Tampax pearl.  I like the ‘discreet’ wrapping so everyone in the ladies restroom doesn’t hear me opening my tampon!

I love the plastic applicator and it feels more comfortable.

I like Tampax as a brand, but I found the plastic applicator more awkward to use.

I always use the always tampons because the give me great comfort and last a really long time.

I found that the tampon didn’t live up to its claims.  Braid and width wise construction didn’t stop any leaking even with the lightest flow.

I like the tampon because it doesn’t burn when applied.

At times, this feels a little bit bulky and at night when I’m sleeping it dosn’t seem to fit in place . Also, I find that it dosn’t seem to fit all panties.

The pearl tampons are great. The plastic applicator is much better than the usual cardboard applicator

I’ve always shyed away from Tampax because they simply don’t fit and leave a painful feeling.  As usual, so did this product. However, I swear by Always and I do find the core really does help to neutralize odors.  Too bad we had to rate both at the same time.  I’d give Tampax a 1 and Always a 5.

I found the Always pads gave me a weird rash.

I love the fact that it has a plastic applicator. It’s extremely comfortable and it’s what I’ve been using since the first time I tried.

Tampax pearl is good. Doesn’t leak. As for always ultra, not so much of a big fan. I find it gives rashes and it makes you leak.

I use both pads and tampons. I like the tampons because they have great protection and are easy to use. They are very comfortable as well. I like the pads because they are thin and also very comfortable and do the job well.

The plastic coating made me get (sorry to say) yeast infections.

I tried these for a few months....never stopped leaking.  Haven’t bothered with them again.

I don’t use tampons because I find them very uncomfortable. I do like Always Ultra Thins. They work well, just have an unfortunate habit of splitting along the side seam or tearing on top, since Always introduced it’s cotton textured surface. Regardless of this problem, I find they work better coverage-wise than any other pad.

I find Always ultra leaves you clean and dry all the time.

Gave me a rash.

The pads give me such a horrible rash that I end up having to wear other products to absorb the blood from broken down skin. Will never use them again.

I don’t use tampax, if I use a tampon it is usually OB. However, the Always product is amazing… I really like that they changed the chafing plasticy stuff to a cottony like material… much more comfortable!  HOWEVER… they need to take that stupid “Have a Happy Period” off the sticker… that always irritates me!

These are the only ones I use!

Tampax pearl are by far the most comfortable tampons I have ever used and have never sprung a leak with them. The only downside is that they are really uncomfortable when removing.

My daughter is the tampon user and she swears by the Pearl...she says they are easier to insert and feel more comfortable.

I only use Always pads, the ultra long thin pad with wings.  I feel like I’m wearing nothing.  The only thing I’d like is an option to have the ultra thin pad without wings when I’m sleeping with a boyfriend and don’t want wings showing on the outside of my panties because I don’t like the thicker pad which is the only option for the wingless pad otherwise Best is show 5.

Always Ultra thin pads have never failed me.  They’re easy to carry and always dependable.

The Pearl Tampons are very easy to use and work very well. I’ve haven’t changed brands since I started using them.

Always ultra thins are the best on the market, but I didn’t like Tampax Pearl. They’re difficult to insert and only expand width-wise, instead of all around. The plastic applicator makes disposal inconvenient.

You can’t even feel it it’s so thin!! It doesn’t feel wet and the price fits my budget!!! My fave pad out there!

Love both these products. Easy to use and super hygienic. Great for alternating.

I wasn’t a big fan or the Tampax Pearl, I found they tended to slip and they weren’t as discrete to carry in my purse.

Tampax Pearl Plastic did not work for me at all, no matter what size of tampon I used I leaked.

Good protection I trust. Easy to apply, but not so easy to remove—there should be a knot at the end of the string.

I only tried Tampax Pearl once, a few years ago when they first came to Canada.  I did not like it one bit.  I thought the idea of the braided cord was a great idea, protection-wise, but I found it hurt.  Would never use it again.

It’s okay, kind of uncomfortable though because it opens really wide.

Tried Tampax Pearl and found that they absorbed very well.

Love the Tampax Pearl! It made me switch from 15 yrs. of using O.B. I like the more cottony cover on the Always. I hated how irritating the plastic was. Good combination for extra heavy overnight.

I have had 2 children and since the last one my uterus has tipped, this has been a tampon problem till now. The Tampax Pearl Plastic is by far the best I’ve tryed yet.  Although I prefer the enviro cardboard, the plastic applicator is smooth and does NOT slip out of your fingers. Always Ultra has great night time protection but is a bit noisy.

I am a die-hard Always fan from when they first launched.  The fact that they’re getting thinner and more absorbant just tells me that they’re listening to the women that use them, and responding to our needs.

These are the best tampons and pads. Before I didn’t like tampons, but once I tried Tampax Pearl I never went back to pads. Always were the brand I loved most when I used them.

The Tampax Pearl are one of the best tampons I’ve ever used. The only thing I didn’t like about them is the braided string for extra leak protection doesn’t work very well.

These are the best tampons on the market right now.  They are very easy to use and quite comfortable.
The pads are a bit long for petite girls.

I love these products, they work amazing. This is all I buy.

I tried always after not using the brand for years, and I was horrified!  They left my skin all red, raw, and sore!  It doesn’t seem to matter which type of Always it is, they all do it to me.  As for Tampax Pearl, They work alright, I don’t find them any better than any other brand though.

I wish there were separate ratings for the Always and Tampax. I have always used Always...no pun intended. I’ve tried the other stuff like Kotex but they always feel like I’m wearing a diaper! I don’t like Tampax or Tampax Pearl. I find they’re too long and can feel very uncomfortable when your cycle is light. Sometimes they start falling out because they’re so long!!!

I’ve been using Always products ever since they’ve been on the market.  I like them a lot and never had a leak but I seem to have a slight skin reaction to the “fabric” used for the outside layer.  My doctor recommended that I use a brand that uses a more breathable material.

Pearls - too much plastic packaging; I prefer the cardboard applicator and paper wrap but changed to these to get the absorbancy that I need.

Always - I find they are too long but absorbtion is great; I just don’t like the feeling of the pad is riding up so high in the front and back!!  Only use when at home or in a crisis

By far the best Tampon on the market.

I love Tampax Pearl Plastic.  I find that the packaging is a little on the noisy side, but that is to be expected, and the certainly do not make as much noise as opening a pad. As a camp counsellor, I find that they are perfect to keep stored in my cabin when the campers have emergencies and are not used to using tampons.

I always get those 2 products and I love the new clean wipes that are attached to the pads

They are the only brands I use and they are great every time.

I have always used Tampax products because they are safe. Not only do they protect you from leaks and provide all sizes for all young and older woman, they have always done studies on health risks and used the best information to make the safest tampons on the market.  Keep up the good work!!

I thought that the pads were great. They are all I use. I also love the new always pads with the cleansing cloths...wonderful when you’re out of your own bathroom!
